“Combating gender-based violence against women with disabilities in six EaP countries” project, implemented by the Center for Information and Counseling on Reproductive Health “Tanadgoma” under the framework of EU 4 Gender Equality: Together against gender stereotypes and gender-based violence regional programme implemented in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine aimed at overcoming and addressing gender stereotypes and discriminatory social norms through behavioral change at the individual and community levels.
The project goal is to engage central and local decision makers and grassroots CSOs in in six countries of EaP in implementing innovative solutions to end gender-based violence against Women With Disabilities (WWD). To reach project goal it is planned to raise awareness of decision makers on identified barriers and enablers to combat gender-based violence against WWD, as well as increased participation of local CSOs in responding to gender-based violence against WWD through implementation of communication, advocacy and improved equality opportunities’ initiatives․
