Within the framework of the project “I can break stereotypes in my community”, Tsayg Regional TV Company and “Agate” Rights Defense Center for Women with Disabilities NGO signed the Memorandum of Understanding in order to develop and strengthen the capacities and skills of mass media representatives, journalists, and University students studying journalism, and raise their awareness on the rights-based model of disability, on how to work and communicate with women and girls with disabilities, and on the use of correct language and terminology related to disability.
The project “I can break stereotypes in my community” is implemented in the framework of the “EU 4 Gender Equality: Together against gender stereotypes and gender-based violence” regional programme, funded by the European Union and implemented jointly by UN Women and UNFPA.
