The “Leading Equality and Access for Disabilities” project is aimed at promoting equal rights and opportunities for persons with disabilities while fostering their active participation in society through involving DPOs as advocates and agents of change. Thus, the overall objective of the project is to contribute towards promotion of equal rights of persons with disabilities and enable their participation and access to services through empowering DPOs as key actors of the ecosystem.
Target group of this project are 3,000 persons with disabilities from Syunik, Gegharkunik, Shirak, Lori and Tavush, 45 NGOs/DPOs, 30 journalists and bloggers, 60 judges, lawyers, public defenders and other relevant staff of the justice system,10 community centres in (day-care, rehabilitation and independent living service providers to the persons with disabilities),40 representatives of Government ministries and agencies, 150 representatives from private sector, universities, as well as designers and architects, 80 assessors․

Activity 1 Facilitate Linkages with European Disability Rights organizations and experts for intensive technical assistance
Activity 2 Training for mass media representatives to report on disability rights and ICF
Activity 3 Workshops with persons with disabilities through their representing organizations (DPOs) to contribute their participation in policy and decision making
Activity 4 Organize Conference and panel discussions on Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Services lead by DPOs․
